GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – A Glynn County police officer was placed on administrative leave Thursday after he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, according to the Glynn County Police Department.
According to the GCPD, around 4 p.m., officers responded to a report of property damage at the Odyssey Lake apartment complex. When officers arrived, they found that the incident involved 25-year-old John Leggett, a GCPD officer.

After the Major Crimes Unit conducted its investigation, Leggett was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, which is a misdemeanor.
Officials said Leggett has been placed on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.
GCPD’s Office of Professional Standards and Accountability will also conduct its own investigation.
This investigation is ongoing.
