Deputies say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 in the area of Woodland View Drive in Fleming Island.
Parks’ arrest report says two of his victims drove themselves to Baptist Clay Hospital after being stabbed. They had just left a house party on Roseberry Court.
News4JAX is not naming the victims involved.
One was stabbed in the left side of his neck and back and was listed in critical condition in the ICU. The other suffered a stab wound to the abdomen. His condition was not listed in the report.
The report said the pair had to be airlifted to the trauma center at HCA Orange Park Hospital.
The mother of one of the victims let detectives search her car, which is what the pair had used to get to the hospital. Investigators found lots of blood, the report said.
A witness, who turned 18 the day before the stabbing, had been in the car with the two victims and was interviewed by investigators.
The arrest report said Parks’ parents called the Sheriff’s Office and said they were willing to meet with investigators. They drove Parks to the substation on Blanding Boulevard, where he was interviewed by detectives.
During the interview, investigators searched a dumpster for the knife and other evidence. What they found and what Parks said in his interview are redacted from the arrest report.
Parks is now in the Duval Juvenile Detention Center. The Clay County jail does not have a juvenile wing.
