Some call them are the stars of tomorrow, but frankly, they’re the stars of today as millions tune in each week to WWE’s NXT every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on CW 17.

Going Ringside host Scott Johnson went down to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando to sit down with all the stars, like Trick Williams, who fans tune into each week, and who spent 8 years growing up in Jacksonville.

“All the way to about 7th-8th grade. Then I moved back to South Carolina, where my family’s from,” he said.

He remembers scoring his first touchdown in the Jacksonville area and watching the Jacksonville Jaguars led by Fred Taylor and Mark Brunell.

“Real Duval, know what I’m saying,” he said.

Most of these stars featured on CW every week live in Florida, where they wrestle for a global stage.

You’ve likely heard of stars like John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, but these are the stars that will be the next generation of household names.

So if you’re a fan or just intrigued by what’s happening every Tuesday night, now is the time to check out NXT, as they’re in a critical part of the year where the stars explode onto the scene.

And we have a big announcement: Our locally produced wrestling show Going Ringside will debut on CW 17 right before NXT on Sept. 23.

It will air at 7:30 p.m., right before NXT at 8 p.m., and we will bring you the biggest stars on the planet every week.
