Jacksonville wrestling show to honor famous father who died rescuing his son in ocean

Saturday show in Murray Hill honors former WWE star Shad Gaspard

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – This Saturday at the Murray Hill Church (4300 Post St) the Beast Invitational Cup Tournament starts at 6p.m.

It’s to honor the life and legacy of Shad Gaspard. WWE fans will remember him as one half of the tag team “Cryme Tyme”.

Gaspard died in 2020 saving his son from drowning in the ocean.

The Love Alive Charity which is operated by Jacksonville’s Elijah Burke is hosting the event.

Burke is another former WWE star who now does regular charity wrestling shows in Jacksonville.

Tickets are still available for the event.

On the latest episode of Going Ringside we talk to one of the wrestling stars who will be performing, Patrick Clark Jr who WWE fans also remember under the ring name “Velveteen Dream”.
