Tractor-trailers get stuck on Interstate 95 in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – Snowy conditions caused widespread issues on the roads in Southeast Georgia on Wednesday morning.

The conditions made traveling on roads hazardous and icy patches forced authorities to close all lanes of I-95 southbound at St. Marys Road (County Road 61) early Wednesday morning.

On I-95 South in Brunswick, News4JAX saw two tractor-trailers stranded. One was in the process of being towed and the other was stalled in the middle of the highway.

According to our real-time traffic map, there were reported slow-downs and backups on I-95 and US 1.
