ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – I’ll be the first to admit, I have gotten some of the best assignments when it comes to our 4 Your Neighborhood visits.

I get to meet some amazing people, try some new sports -- and eat!

From tacos to the backwoods to pizza, I ate well in St. Augustine, so you can too!

My food adventure started at Mojo’s Tacos - South on Santa Maria Boulevard.

Mojo’s is as self-made as it gets. They don’t even pay for advertising, but I hear their shrimp tacos are as good as it gets.

Kali Devlin said the restaurant has built its reputation over the last 17 years and supports the local community.

“We sponsor local sports teams, and that is how we get our name out there,” Devlin said.

The story behind the start of the restaurant is unique.

Owner Laura Devlin said they emptied out their coin jar and came up with $500.

“I came to this spot and I said, ‘Will you take $500 for this to serve tacos,’ and he said, ‘It is all yours,’” Laura Devlin recalled.

From taco appetizers, we headed over to Prohibition Kitchen on St. George Street.

From Prohibition Kitchen, we opted to finish off our food tour with pizza at Pizza Time, just across the way on St. George Street.
