HaHa Mafia brings high-energy comedy to Jacksonville this weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Rapper, actor and comedian Tip “T.I.” Harris is bringing his comedy troupe, the HaHa Mafia, to Jacksonville for four shows at the Comedy Zone on Friday and Saturday.

“You can expect some authentic energy that comes from a real place,” T.I. said. “And you should just expect the laugh. That’s what’s gonna happen.”

Harris will take the stage alongside comedians Erica Duchess, Fattman Deezy, Kelly “KDubb” Walker and Jayski — a group known for its sharp chemistry and fast-rising momentum.

“Man, they are funny, and I think they were born funny, you know, saying I got funny over time,” T.I. said.

Comedians Share What Makes the Tour Special

For Fattman Deezy, known for his unapologetic humor and high-energy delivery, comedy came from learning to defend himself growing up.

“I got made fun of when I was young, so I had to be unapologetic with my defense,” he said. “I just want to show love and encourage people.”

Deezy said this will be his first time performing in Jacksonville. “That what it is,” he laughed.

Jayski, who appears in T.I.’s independent film “Da ’Partments” and is joining Mike Epps’ “We Them Ones Comedy Tour,” said Jacksonville has always felt welcoming.

“Duval County is like my second home,” he said. “I love coming down to the perform, and now I’m on a roll with tips. So, you know, I’m constantly working. So as a comedian, that’s all you got. Keep on doing shows and keep on paying these bills.”

How T.I. Entered the World of Comedy

Walker — known to fans as KDubb — says he’s the reason T.I. is even doing stand-up. KDubb once threw him on stage during a date night, forcing an unexpected performance that Harris now credits as a turning point.

“I thought he did it out of spite,” T.I. said. “But I answer all challenges with tenacity. I didn’t know what I was gonna say — I just opened my mouth and it came out. Fate favors the brave.”

He said comedy gives him a peace that music can’t.

“At a comedy show, people come ready to laugh,” he said. “They come intending to have a pleasant time. It’s a chance to chill in a room full of people and not worry about getting shot. That’s the main thing I enjoy.”

A New Chapter for T.I.

Between films, tours, music and family projects, Harris says the role he’s in right now is grandfather.

“My granddaughter comes in and wants to play peekaboo — I’m gonna peekaboo her to death,” he said. “That kind of trumps everything else.”

Message to Jacksonville

The HaHa Mafia’s message to Duval County is simple: pull up and be ready to laugh.

“Come on out. Get a ticket,” Jayski said.

Tickets for all four shows are available through the Comedy Zone.
