Going Ringside Ep. 108: Mickie James & WWE LFG

The WWE legend is here to talk about the new series that debuts on A&E this Sunday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A brand new venture for WWE programming debuts Feb. 16 on A&E at 8/7c. It’s called “WWE LFG.” LFG stands for “Legends and Future Greats.”

WWE legends Undertaker, Mickie James, Bubba Ray and Booker T will train 16 up-and-coming “Future Greats” and show the process of becoming a star in the unique world of pro wrestling.

“It’s amazing to come out and come back for something that’s so unique,” said James. “Especially when I’m sitting alongside people who I’ve considered mentors and I look up to so much and admire.”

This is a unique venture for WWE to essentially show viewers how the process works from becoming a student to becoming a star.

The four “Legends” will act as coaches on the show.

“It’s cool to get to know them at the very beginning stages of their journey,” said James. “Hopefully they create some fans for life because I feel like if you’re a fan of WWE, if you’re a fan of this process. What it takes to be a WWE Superstar but then to be able to see a lot of these talents at the very beginning of their careers. This is just scratching the surface.”
