The showers are ending as the cold front heads south. Cooler temperatures with patchy frost possible tonight and Thursday morning.

Partial clearing tonight with cooler overnight lows. Patchy frost will be possible for inland southeast Georgia tonight and across inland southeast Georgia and northeast Florida on Thursday morning.

Scattered showers with storms return Friday and will continue through late Saturday afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall may be possible as the next cold front moves through with some models hinting at accumulation of 2 - 4 inches.

Tonight: Partial clearing and cooler. Patchy frost possible for inland southeast Georgia. Light wind.

Wednesday: Patchy frost for some inland areas then becoming partly cloudy and cooler. Morning lows in the 30s and 40s for S E GA, 40s and 50s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the 60s. Wind: NW 5 -10 mph. Patchy frost will be possible overnight for inland NE FL and SE GA.

Looking ahead: Pleasant and cooler Thursday with increasing rain chances, some locally heavy Friday and Saturday. Scattered showers may linger through early Sunday.
