TRACKING THE TROPICS

The National Hurricane Center has observed an eastern Atlantic tropical wave moving westward at 15-20 kt. It is approximately 1000 miles east/southeast of the Lesser Antilles, a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea. Rain and thunderstorms are disorganized. The chance of the wave developing is becoming less likely as it becomes disorganized by the middle of the week.
