A heat advisory, warning of dangerously hot temperatures, is in effect for Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida until 6 p.m. In addition, isolated storms are possible into the late afternoon and early evening.
Rip Currents: Moderate risk of rip currents in effect at all beaches this weekend.
Stay indoors in cool, comfortable air until temperatures decrease. However, if you must be outdoors, it is imperative that you stay hydrated, wear light clothing and take multiple rest breaks.
Southern counties: St. Johns, Flagler and Putnam will have isolated storms in the late Saturday afternoon.
Feels like temperatures will be as high as 111 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sunday, heat indices will be above 100 degrees Fahrenheit as well.
By midnight, environmental temperatures will remain in the low 80s, with feels-like temperatures in the upper 80s. Light winds will continue to move in from the south, with high humidity overnight and mostly clear skies.
Rain chances fade for Northeast Florida just before sunset.
Sunday storms will begin tomorrow in the early afternoon in Southeast Georgia and move toward the Florida-Georgia border.

Monday models show storms developing in the late morning and then converging to larger storms in the afternoon.
TRACKING THE TROPICS
There is a tropical wave in the Central Tropical Atlantic. It is located about 1000 miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. By mid-week environmental conditions could reduce the chance of development.
There is a 20 percent chance of development over the next seven days.
