Pop star JoJo Siwa will compete as part of the first same-sex pairing on “Dancing With the Stars” for the show’s upcoming 30th season.

In June, a federal judge awarded Baskin ownership of the private Oklahoma zoo run by Maldonado-Passage. Others slated to appear on the dancing show are cheer team coach Monica Aldama, Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe, NFL star Vernon Davis, actress Skai Jackson, actress Justina Machado, TV host Jeannie Mai, Jesse Metcalfe, rapper Nelly, TV host Nev Schulman, real estate agent Chrishell Stause and Olympian Johnny Weir. Supermodel and businesswoman Tyra Banks will host the new season after longtime co-host Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews announced their exits from the series in July.

Ray Lewis is opening up about his shocking withdrawal from Dancing With the Stars. At the top of the show, host Tom Bergeron announced that "an old injury flared up" for Lewis, which is why he wasn't dancing in the opening number. Former mirrorball champion (and fellow former NFL pro) Rashad Jennings stepped in last minute to dance a Cha Cha to the Beatles' "Twist and Shout" with Burke. The revelation came after Lewis and Burke both shared cryptic posts to their Instagram accounts just days apart. Four days prior, Burke revealed that she and Lewis were "working harder than ever" to get their Cha Cha "in good shape" for Monday's show.

Dancing With the Stars is about to send home its first celeb! The dancing competition show returned for week two on Monday, after introducing fans to their new cast of strutting stars last week. Host Tom Bergeron hinted to ET last month that the DWTS judges will have a "little extra oomph" this season. Sailor Brinkley-Cook stepped in for mom Christie Brinkley and held her own despite just a few days of practice. James Van Der Beek and Bachelorette Hannah Brown were early standout stars, while Sean Spicer and Lamar Odom struggled with their week one dances.

During the dance competition shows panel at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, on Friday, executive producer Andrew Llinares revealed a change in the voting process. which prompted Bergeron to ask Llinares how the live voting element will affect viewers on Pacific time. Earlier in the panel, while discussing the unique tie-in DWTS has with Disney, Llinares also revealed the date of this season's Disney night. "You want the whole show to be magic, especially for Disney night. "Weve got a great and diverse cast," Llinares told ET in a statement at the time.

It's been an eventful 24 hours for Sean Spicer. One person, however, who proudly supported Spicer was Donald Trump, who tweeted, "Just heard that Sean Spicer will be on Dancing with the Stars. CNN image(CNN) - Tom Bergeron isn't the only person who's unhappy about the casting of Sean Spicer on "Dancing With the Stars." Some staffers at ABC News are "up in arms," as one source put it, over the decision by ABC's entertainment division. The network is casting the former White House press secretary, best known for his obfuscation on behalf of President Trump, for what's supposed to be a delightful dance-off. But for "GMA" to lean into it -- by setting up a faux White House podium for his intro on Wednesday -- is problematic. Responding to Bergeron's statement, Spicer told CNN Business, "I think Tom has been a great host.

Dancing With the Stars co-host Tom Bergeron is throwing shade at the recent announcement that former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has joined the recent cast. The season 28 cast was announced Wednesday morning on Good Morning America. Among the names was Spicer, which caused much shock and awe. Bergeron later took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to subtly protest the decision, though he did not name Spicer specifically. Other members of the new cast include Christie Brinkley, The Office star Kate Flannery, Lamar Odom and James Van Der Beek. Hannah Brown moves from The Bachelorette to Dancing With the Stars, and 75-year-old Mary Wilson of the Supremes was introduced as the last cast member.

The Dancing With the Stars contestants for season 28 have been announced, but Tom Bergeron didn't sign off on all of them.
