JAXBest 2025: What to know about nominations, categories, voting and key dates

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a short break, News4JAX’s JAXBest returns this June, bigger, bolder, and more fun than ever before!

Starting June 24 at 9:30 a.m., we’re handing the power over to you, our community, to nominate your favorite local businesses, hangouts, eats, and hidden gems across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia!

From best burger to best pet services, from coolest coffee shop to liveliest nightclub, there are dozens of exciting categories waiting for your picks. Whether it’s the doggy daycare your pup loves or the dive bar with killer vibes, this is your chance to give local legends the spotlight they deserve!

Here’s how it works:

Starting June 24 at 9:30 a.m., the nomination period officially kicks off, and it’s your chance to shine a spotlight on your favorite local businesses, hot spots, and hidden gems across dozens of exciting categories!

The nomination period runs until July 29, then the Top 4 finalists in each category will move on to the next round.

Finalist voting begins Sept. 4 and runs through Oct. 2, so rally your friends, cast your votes, and show love to your local favorites. And finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for: winners will be revealed beginning on Nov. 3!
